Share your burden with others. Gather with you only courageous and strong people who live in holiness, who are under church authority and who have faith to work with you. Remember the enemy is legally able to attack any area of our lives, not submitted to the Word of God and accountable to the wisdom of leadership in the body of Christ. You will be coming up against strong demonic forces which will not want to be dislodged as they have ruled their particular strongholds for a long time. Your protection is your holy life (which is your humble, transparent, intimate relationship with the Lord and His people).
Together seek the Lord about what assignment He would give you. In the past the Lord has directed His intercessors to local shrines, idolatrous sites, places where violence has occurred (like murder, suicide, car accidents, rape, assault, abortion clinics), places where occult activities are practiced, etc; government buildings, like the justice and police departments; schools, hospitals, churches, etc.
Together seek the Lord concerning strategy, scripture, and prophetic acts. In this step of obedience we will come together with hearts purified ---by confession of sin, forgiving any offenses, and receiving the covering of the Blood of Jesus in the atonement. Most often the Lord will call us to fast in different ways. As we come together we ask and listen to the Lord for the specific direction He would give including: scriptures…. strategy…..timing….any prophetic acts…..We must come into agreement on each point.
Hold the Lord's supper and pray for each other for wisdom, protection and faith. Call the protecting angels of the Lord to be a canopy over you. Recall how David the psalmist said, "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies" Psalm 23:5. Invite Jesus to have communion with you. Remember, Jesus promised He would drink it with us in our Father's Kingdom. (Matt 26:29). Recognize He is always with us when we take communion. He is the unseen guest at every communion "table". Recognize the partaking of communion is the "prophetic act" commemorating the Blood Covenant we have with the King of the Universe!! Pass the bread around. Each person takes a piece and eats, keeping a portion for sowing onsite at the land itself. The reason for this is that bread speaks of strength. It speaks of the atoning and redemptive work of healing for all God's creation which was wrought through the broken suffering body of Christ….. "and with His stripes we are healed". Even as our bodies often experience an enduement (clothing) of strength and healing through the partaking of the communion bread ---so also, in faith we speak and impart strength and life and health into the land. Pass around the cup of the covenant. Recognize there is enough power in the precious blood of Jesus to restore all creation to the way God has originally created it! Let His Kingdom come on the earth as it is in heaven! Everyone partakes of the cup and then the remaining is poured out into the ground onsite as a witness that the Blood of Jesus Christ has been has been shed to break the curse, for the release of the land from all demonic authority and that Christ forgives the land. As you pour it out you could say "The curse caused by the blood of innocent people that died here is broken once and for all! Blood is required for blood. (Num 35: 33-34)
Build an altar of Praise to the Lord on arrival at the site or at a place of meeting beforehand. We build an altar of praise by yielding to and declaring the Lord's authority in that place; singing in English and in the Spirit; declare the victory of the Kingdom of God, which has come to this place through the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ. Sing in the Spirit; rejoice and dance and praise the Lord with a glad heart. The demons cannot stand praise.
Then walk around and seek the Lord to show each one the sins that were committed there. Possibly write them on paper and come back together and share what you have heard.
Remit the sin and seek the Lord as to whether there is any need of identificational repentance because of sin committed on the land. If so "get in the number" and confess the sin together as well as receiving the forgiveness for the sin (standing in the gap for the land)
Anoint the ground with oil just as Jacob did, for its healing and dedication back to God. (Gen28:18)
Call the spirits to attention; tell them that you are issuing orders that their time of dominion is ended.
Divide Satan's kingdom by your words. Remember: Lucifer rules through fear. The spirits have no love for each other. They too rule those beneath them through fear. Pride and jealousy, which caused him to commit insurrection, possesses the spirits of his own ranks. Those spirits all want Lucifer's position. By dividing his kingdom it is weakened for it is written "a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand When you strike the shepherd the sheep will scatter: when you strike the chief demon, the lesser demons will scatter.
Satan must recognize and bow before the power and authority of the blood of Jesus in the earth as declared by His representatives.
Break any curses which have come on the land as a result of sin by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ!
Hold to your course of Faith and stand your ground, exalting the Lord until you sense the release of the Holy Spirit. This release will usually manifest in the midst of you with praises, laughter, and a sense of peace or closure. Praise the Lord of all the earth!
Exalt the Lord with high praises because He is a faithful Father and has written your names in His book of Life! Declare again the victory of the Covenant and Atonement!
Prophesy Blessing to the land: cleansing, prosperity, fruitfulness, coming into God's design and destiny as the Holy Spirit leads! Speak strength and holiness into the land! Speak healing and grace! Speak the Glory of God to come forth!
Genesis 4:11-12 (Amp) And now you are cursed by reason of the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's [shed] blood from your hand. [12] When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength; you shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth [in perpetual exile, a degraded outcast].
Genesis 12:7-8 (Amp) Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your posterity. So Abram built an altar there to the Lord, Who had appeared to him. From there he pulled up [his tent pegs] and departed to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord.
Exodus 12:23 (Amp) For the Lord will pass through to slay the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood upon the lintel and the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to slay you.
Ezekiel 22:30 (Amp) And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.
Isaiah 53:4-5 (Amp) Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].
[5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
1 Peter 2:24 (Amp) He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.
Matthew 26:27-29 (KJV) And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; [28] For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. [29] But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
Luke 10:17-21 (Amp) The seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name! [18] And He said to them, I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. [19] Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. [20] Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven. [21] In that same hour He rejoiced and gloried in the Holy Spirit and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have concealed these things [relating to salvation] from the wise and understanding and learned, and revealed them to babes (the childish, unskilled, and untaught). Yes, Father, for such was Your gracious will and choice and good pleasure.
Romans 8:37-39 (Amp) Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. [38] For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, [39] Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
