In Grand Rapids itself I saw a hill start to arise, and the top of the hill split open and it became a volcano erupting, slowly at first, then pouring, shooting high up into the air, rolling and mixing...

Though it looked peaceful at first on the surface, it was churning and building pressure underneath, just below the surface. And once it broke forth, there was no stopping it. And what broke forth from the earth and shot
heavenward mixed with that which whirled and had it's source in the heavenlies and poured down becoming on fire with one source. And as I watched, I saw spots where fire from heaven had been falling, many little spots that had been absorbed by the earth; but instead of being quenched,
it had gone on to grow beneath the surface and had migrated toward a
central place, a place of unity beneath the surface, and it created many little rivers of fire...many little channels that joined together underneath the
surface and burst forth moving back toward the heavenlies. Not only is it
true that what goes up (prayer) must come down, but what comes down (prayer) must go up as well.

At the center of the rivers, where they joined together, was an ember - a deposit that had been placed and remained from long ago. It had been kept alive over the years. And the fire in the earth was a hunger and a passion
and a love for the Lord; and the fire from heaven was His passion for His
bride, and His Glory, and His Power, and His Presence poured out.

(This vision was recieved by one of the founders of the West Michigan
Prayer Center in the summer of 2001.)
